Fabric Depot Blog

With both a huge online and brick and mortar presence, Fabric Depot’s mission is to be a resource to their community of sewists and makers. Keeping a monthly Blog is the best way to provide their online customers with important tips, tricks, and inspiration as well as drive organic traffic to their site. Having let their previous blog go dormant for 6 months it was time to re-launch.

Well over 4 years old, the most successful posts to date was riddled with poor graphics, broken/missing product links, unclear copy, and a lack of SEO. Rebranding their blog with an updated look and feel would not only help drive traffic to their online store, but establish Fabric Depot as a resource.

The re-launched blog saw a piece of evergreen content that better matched the brand voice and was aesthetically pleasing. An updated and streamlined infographic to serve as a guide for any new quilters. Large format versions were even printed and displayed in the store to aid offline customers as well. The SEO update saw increased batting sales the week following the blog post. Link to full blog.
